Voor onze werkplaats in Lokeren zijn we op zoek naar een hoofdmeckanieker die het dagelijkse reilen en zeilen in goede banen leidt. Je neemt mee de leiding in een gloednieuwe werkplaats waar jij de rechterhand van de teamleader wordt. Je bouwt samen aan de verdere uitbating en groei van onze activiteiten.

Wat houdt jouw rol in?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en werking van de werkplaats.
  • Je stuurt een team van collega-techniekers aan.
  • Je volgt de werkplanning op en zorgt dat deadlines en kwaliteitsnormen gehaald worden.
  • Je beheert de administratieve taken: bestellingen plaatsen, opvolgen van stock, planning registreren, rapportering, enz.
  • Je steekt de handen uit de mouwen en ondersteunt je team waar nodig.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de teamleader en denkt mee na over verbeteringen en efficiëntie binnen de werkplaats.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Dankzij je technische kennis en ervaring met vrachtwagens/bussen en trailers weet je perfect wat er speelt in de werkplaats en kan je je team gericht ondersteunen.
  • Je bent een people manager: je motiveert, coacht en begeleidt je team met respect en betrokkenheid.
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, oplossingsgericht en behoudt het overzicht, ook in drukke periodes.
  • Je combineert administratieve nauwkeurigheid met een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je bent de Nederlandse taal machtig, Frans en Engels zijn basis.
