Courtyard by Marriott Gent is op zoek naar een veelzijdige receptionist(e) voor een parttime functie van 60%, waarbij dag- en nachtdiensten worden gecombineerd en je op elk moment van de dag als vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor onze gasten fungeert.

Wat ga je doen als hotelreceptionist?

Als receptionist(e) ben je een van de eerste en laatste personen die onze gasten te zien krijgen. Je zorgt voor een warm en professioneel onthaal.

Deze veelzijdige functie combineert gastvrijheid, verantwoordelijkheid en zelfstandigheid.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:

Receptie & gastenservice

  • Gasten verwelkomen en het in- en uitchecken afhandelen (zowel overdag als ’s nachts).
  • Informatie over het hotel en de stad Gent.
  • Telefoontjes en e-mails op professionele wijze beantwoorden.
  • Vragen, verzoeken en opmerkingen van gasten efficiënt afhandelen.
  • Het afhandelen van betalingen en administratieve taken.

Algemene ondersteuning

  • Samenwerken met de schoonmaakdienst, de ontbijtservice en andere afdelingen.
  • Ervoor zorgen dat de lobby en de receptie netjes en uitnodigend blijven.

Kortom: je bent gastvrij, een probleemoplosser en een betrouwbare steun, zowel overdag als ’s nachts.

In een groene oase op een gemakkelijk bereikbare locatie in Gent vindt u ons unieke hospitality-centrum: een samenwerking tussen Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn Express en Residence Inn by Marriott. Samen creëren deze drie hotels een bruisende plek waar gastvrijheid, comfort en beleving centraal staan. Het centrum omvat ook een ultramodern evenementencentrum en het verfijnde Arno Ristorante, een Toscaans fine-dining restaurant.

Courtyard by Marriott opent zijn deuren in oktober 2025. Het hotel heeft 174 stijlvolle kamers en biedt gasten een inspirerende mix van elegantie en functionaliteit. Dankzij de samenwerking tussen de hotels, het evenementencentrum en de F&B-outlets creëren we een naadloze ervaring voor zowel zakenreizigers als toeristen.   • Je blijft kalm, vriendelijk en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar weet ook wanneer je moet samenwerken met collega’s.
  • Nacht- en weekenddiensten zijn geen probleem voor je.
  • Je bent op zoek naar een deeltijdse baan (60%).
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.
  • Ervaring in de horeca, bij de receptie of in de beveiliging is een plus, met name ervaring met nachtdiensten.
  • Je bent handig met computers of pikt nieuwe systemen snel op.

Een diploma is minder belangrijk dan je betrouwbaarheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en servicegerichte houding.
