Als Hovenier Onderhoud zorg jij ervoor dat groenvoorzieningen en buitenruimtes er het hele jaar door verzorgd en netjes bij liggen. Je werkt op verschillende locaties en krijgt daardoor te maken met veel verschillende soorten groen en terreinen. De projecten lopen uiteen van daktuinen en bedrijfsterreinen tot openbare ruimtes en exclusieve buitenomgevingen. Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit het onderhoud, maar wanneer je interesse en ervaring hebt, kun je ook werkzaamheden binnen de aanleg oppakken. Je gaat samen met een ploeg op pad. Voor vertrek bespreek je wat er die dag moet gebeuren en zorg je er samen voor dat de benodigde machines, materialen en gereedschappen aanwezig zijn. Op locatie ga je zelfstandig en samen met je collega's aan de slag. Daarbij kun je denken aan: - Het verzorgen en onderhouden van verschillende soorten groen. - Het netjes en representatief houden van tuinen en terreinen. - Het uitvoeren van seizoensgebonden werkzaamheden. - Het signaleren van bijzonderheden aan het groen of de buitenruimte. - Het werken met verschillende machines en handgereedschappen. - Het eventueel uitvoeren van werkzaamheden rondom aanleg en inrichting. - Het opruimen en netjes achterlaten van de werklocatie. Werken in een team Je werkt nauw samen met de voorman. Die zorgt voor de dagelijkse aansturing, terwijl jij met de rest van de ploeg zorgt dat het werk wordt uitgevoerd. Je bespreekt samen de planning, geeft aan wanneer je ergens tegenaan loopt en denkt mee over hoe het werk het beste kan worden aangepakt. We vinden het belangrijk dat je plezier hebt in je werk en de ruimte krijgt om beter te worden in je vak.
