Veiligheid creëer je niet vanachter een bureau alleen. Je ziet het op de werkvloer, in de dagelijkse gewoontes van medewerkers en in de kleine verbeteringen die een groot verschil maken. Als HSE Assistant ben jij de persoon die veiligheid, welzijn en milieu tastbaar maakt binnen de organisatie.

Voor een toonaangevende internationale voedingsproducent zoeken we een HSE Assistant die graag dicht bij de operatie staat. Je combineert administratieve nauwkeurigheid met een hands-on mentaliteit en helpt mee een werkomgeving creëren waarin medewerkers veilig, gezond en met vertrouwen kunnen werken.

Wanneer je door de productieomgeving wandelt, zie jij meer dan processen en machines. Je detecteert verbeterkansen, spreekt mensen aan, geeft advies en zorgt ervoor dat veiligheid dagelijks onder de aandacht blijft.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

  • Uitvoeren van veiligheidsrondes en werkplekinspecties
  • Signaleren van risico’s en meedenken over praktische oplossingen
  • Ondersteunen bij risicoanalyses, veiligheidsbeoordelingen en incidentonderzoeken
  • Registreren en opvolgen van arbeidsongevallen en bijna-ongevallen
  • Bewaken van corrigerende en preventieve acties
  • Controleren van veiligheidsvoorschriften en correct gebruik van PBM’s
  • Meewerken aan projecten rond veiligheid, welzijn, gezondheid en ergonomie
  • Geven van veiligheidsintroducties aan nieuwe medewerkers en externe partners
  • Sensibiliseren van medewerkers rond veilig gedrag en veilig werken
  • Ondersteunen van toolboxmeetings en veiligheidsopleidingen
  • Opstellen en beheren van HSE-documentatie, rapporteringen en statistieken
  • Opvolgen van KPI’s, audits en actieplannen
  • Beheren van veiligheidsmateriaal en veiligheidsuitrustingen
  • Samenwerken met interne en externe preventie- en welzijnspartners

Dankzij jouw aanwezigheid op de werkvloer en jouw gedreven opvolging draag je rechtstreeks bij aan een veilige en aangename werkomgeving voor alle collega's.

Je bent iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt, mensen weet mee te krijgen en veiligheid ziet als een gedeelde verantwoordelijkheid.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een bacheloropleiding binnen veiligheid, milieu of een technische richting
  • Bij voorkeur een eerste ervaring binnen HSE, preventie of veiligheid in een productieomgeving
  • Een diploma Preventieadviseur Niveau II of de motivatie om dit te behalen
  • Een sterk analytisch vermogen en een gestructureerde werkwijze
  • Een hands-on mentaliteit gecombineerd met administratieve nauwkeurigheid
  • Het talent om veiligheidsinformatie begrijpelijk en overtuigend over te brengen
  • Een vlotte kennis van Microsoft Office
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels

Je houdt ervan aanwezig te zijn op de werkvloer en begrijpt dat veiligheid mensenwerk is.
