The posting

Onze klant is een internationale producent in de sector van interieur en decoratie, met een moderne productievestiging in de regio Tielt. Ter versterking van het team zijn zij op zoek naar een HSE Manager die het veiligheids-, gezondheids- en milieubeleid naar een hoger niveau tilt.

In deze rol neem je een sleutelpositie op binnen de productieomgeving. Je ontwikkelt en implementeert het HSE-beleid, ziet toe op naleving van wetgeving en creëert draagvlak bij collega’s.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden in een notendop:

  • Ontwikkelen, implementeren en onderhouden van het HSE-beleid in lijn met wetgeving en bedrijfsdoelstellingen;
  • Identificeren en opvolgen van risico’s in productieprocessen, met focus op chemische producten;
  • Opstellen en actualiseren van procedures, veiligheidsinstructies en noodplannen;
  • Organiseren van interne audits, veiligheidsrondes en milieu-inspecties;
  • Analyseren van incidenten en opvolgen van verbeteracties;
  • Correct registreren en rapporteren van ongevallen en milieu-incidenten;
  • Voorbereiden en coördineren van het CPBW, inclusief opvolging van actiepunten;
  • Geven van trainingen en toolboxmeetings voor medewerkers en leidinggevenden;
  • Aanspreekpunt zijn voor externe instanties (arbeidsinspectie, milieu-inspectie, klantenaudits);
  • Actief bijdragen aan duurzaamheidsprojecten, ESG-rapportering en CO₂-reductie-initiatieven.

Wat maakt jou de ideale kandidaat voor deze functie?

  • Bachelor of Master in een relevante richting (bv. chemie, veiligheidstechnieken, preventieadviseur, milieucoördinator);
  • Ervaring als HSE Manager of gelijkaardige functie, bij voorkeur in een productieomgeving;
  • Kennis van chemische producten en de veiligheidsvoorschriften hieromtrent;
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands;
  • Erkend Preventieadviseur niveau 1 of 2 en Milieucoördinator (niveau A of B);
  • Grondige kennis van wet- en regelgeving (arbeidsveiligheid, milieuwetgeving, REACH);
  • Communicatief sterk en in staat om te overtuigen en draagvlak te creëren;
