Onze opdrachtgever is een toonaangevende speler binnen de voedingsindustrie, onderdeel van een sterk groeiende internationale groep met familiale roots. Vanuit de Belgische site in regio Hasselt produceert men dagelijks hoogwaardige producten voor zowel nationale als internationale klanten. De organisatie combineert traditionele vakkennis met moderne productietechnologieën.

De site telt ongeveer 250 tot 300 medewerkers en beschikt over een uitgebreid technisch machinepark. Binnen de groep wordt sterk ingezet op kwaliteit, veiligheid, duurzaamheid en continue verbetering.

Deze combinatie van groei, verandering en ambitie maakt het een bijzonder boeiende omgeving voor professionals die impact willen maken en willen bijdragen aan het vormgeven van een moderne, veilige en performante productieorganisatie.

Jobomschrijving

HSE Manager - Hasselt - Food Industry

  • Ontwikkelen, implementeren en verder uitbouwen van het veiligheids-, gezondheids- en milieubeleid
  • Vertalen van strategisch beleid naar concrete operationele richtlijnen en processen op de werkvloer
  • Voorbereiden, deelnemen aan en opvolgen van het Comité voor Preventie en Bescherming op het Werk
  • Initiëren en uitrollen van opleidingen, toolboxen en sensibiliseringscampagnes
  • Actief aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer en nauw samenwerken met productie, maintenance, engineering, QA en HR
  • Bewaken van compliance met wetgeving, normen en interne richtlijnen (incl. ATEX-omgeving)
  • Stimuleren van een proactieve veiligheidscultuur waarbij veiligheid een gedeelde verantwoordelijkheid wordt
  • Rapporteren aan de Plant Manager en bijdragen als volwaardig lid van het managementteam

HSE Manager - Hasselt - Food Industry

  • Bachelor of Master in een technische richting
  • Preventieadviseur Niveau 1 is een must
  • Ervaring als milieucoördinator A of bereidheid om dit te behalen
  • Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen HSE, bij voorkeur in de voedingsindustrie
  • Aantoonbare kennis van procesveiligheid, machineveiligheid, ATEX en industriële installaties
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en in staat om draagvlak te creëren op alle niveaus
  • Hands-on mentaliteit gecombineerd met strategisch inzicht
  • Coachend leiderschap met focus op cultuurverandering
