Jouw uitdaging

Jouw missie is om veiligheid van papier naar de praktijk te vertalen. Je bewaakt de VCA- en ISO-normen, maar focust vooral op het versterken van de veiligheidscultuur op de werf. Door kritisch naar bestaande processen te kijken en als praktische problemsolver op te treden, weet jij collega’s te motiveren en risico’s proactief te elimineren!

Jouw werkplek

Jij zal werken vanuit onze hoofdzetel in Dessel. Je versterkt ons driekoppige preventieteam en focust op preventie, milieu, ISO en gebouwenbeheer. Vanuit je uitvalsbasis in Dessel bezoek je regelmatig onze werven in België en incidenteel in de rest van Europa.

Jouw team valt onder Smet-Boring, de ondersteunende dienst van Smet Group, onder de divisie Administratie. Smet-Boring verzorgt mee een vlotte opvolging van projecten, correctie verwerking van documenten en ondersteunt alle teams met nauwkeurige en tijdige administratie. Kortom, Smet-Boring is het organisatorische hart van Smet Group.

Wat jij gaat doen

Samen met het team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitbouwen en borgen van ons veiligheidsbeleid. Je kijkt met een kritische blik naar bestaande processen en slaat de brug tussen kantoor en werf. Je bewaakt de conformiteit met VCA en ISO 9001 en fungeert als ambassadeur voor een sterke veiligheidscultuur.

Jouw takenpakket omvat:

  • Beleidsbeheer: Je stelt het Globaal Preventieplan (GPP) en de Jaaractieplannen (JAP) op en voert deze uit.
  • Cultuurbouw: Je verhoogt het veiligheidsbewustzijn op de werven en stimuleert proactief gedrag bij collega's.
  • Risicobeheersing: Je identificeert veiligheidsrisico’s en vertaalt deze direct naar concrete preventiemaatregelen.
  • Practical problemsolving: Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor (on)veilige situaties en zoekt naar werkbare oplossingen.
  • Samenwerking: Je werkt nauw samen met de collega’s op locatie om veiligheid integraal onderdeel van hun werk te maken.

Wie jij bent

  • Je beschikt over een diploma Preventieadviseur niveau 1;
  • Jij bent een praktische problemsolver. Je hebt een technische achtergrond waardoor je op de werf niet alleen risico’s ziet, maar ook meteen met een haalbare oplossing komt.
  • Jij bent een natuurlijke coach. Je vindt het leuk om mensen te instrueren en mee te nemen in jouw visie op veiligheid.
  • Jij bent een bruggenbouwer met impact. Je schakelt moeiteloos tussen een strategisch overleg over het GPP-JAP en een eerlijk gesprek met de vakmannen op de werf.
  • Jij bent een creatieve aanjager. Je wacht niet af, maar zet proactief interne campagnes op die veiligheid echt laten 'leven' binnen de organisatie.
  • Jij bent communicatief ijzersterk. Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels, zodat je zowel rapportages als internationale contacten vlekkeloos afhandelt.
