Jouw nieuwe baan Overzichtelijke spreekuren, een vaste patiëntenpopulatie en ruimte om je op zorg te richten bepalen je werkdag als huisarts in Nieuw-Zeeland. Je voert dagelijks 20 tot 25 consulten en houdt overzicht over de zorg voor je patiënten. Samen met 6 collega-artsen, praktijkverpleegkundigen en ondersteunende medewerkers bied je eerstelijnszorg. De praktijk beschikt over goede faciliteiten, zodat jij je aandacht bij de patiënt houdt. Je werkt 4 dagen per week en hebt geen weekenddiensten. Dat maakt je rooster voorspelbaar en laat tijd over om Nieuw-Zeeland te ontdekken. Tijdens je start begeleidt een vaste buddy je binnen de praktijk en het lokale zorgsysteem. Zo raak je stap voor stap vertrouwd met de werkwijze en je nieuwe leefomgeving. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Je stapt binnen in een team waar collega's elkaar kennen en makkelijk benaderen. De lijnen zijn kort en er is ruimte om zelfstandig te werken, terwijl je altijd kunt sparren. De praktijk ligt in een stad die compact aanvoelt, maar alles biedt wat je nodig hebt. Na je werk sta je zo buiten, in de natuur of aan zee. Tegelijk zijn cultuur, horeca en voorzieningen dichtbij. Wonen kan op verschillende plekken, afhankelijk van wat bij je past. Denk aan een levendige stad of juist een rustige kustomgeving. Een regio vlakbij de stad staat bekend om stranden, natuur en dorpen waar je na je werk echt kunt schakelen.
