Als Hulp kok in onze Thaise keuken werk je nauw samen met onze chef-kok om de heerlijke Thaise gerechten te bereiden die onze gasten kennen en waarderen. Je zorgt ervoor dat alles in de keuken op rolletjes loopt, van de voorbereiding van ingrediënten tot het schoonhouden van de werkruimtes. Jij draagt bij aan de hoge kwaliteit van onze gerechten en de efficiëntie van de keuken.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Voorbereiden van ingrediënten: Je snijdt en snipper verschillende groenten, zoals pepers, uien, en kruiden, die essentieel zijn voor de authentieke Thaise smaken.
  • Vlees- en visbereiding: Je helpt bij het schoonmaken, snijden en marineren van vlees, en zorgt ervoor dat alles volgens de hygiëneregels wordt behandeld.
  • Keukenonderhoud: Je houdt de werkstations, keukengerei en apparatuur schoon en geordend. Dit omvat ook het reinigen van ovens, kookplaten, en andere apparaten.
  • Koken en afwerking: Afhankelijk van je ervaring, mag je helpen bij het koken van gerechten, zoals het wokken van vlees of het bereiden van curry’s en soepen.
  • Assisteren bij de mise en place: Je bereidt de ingrediënten voor die de chef-kok nodig heeft voor het koken van de gerechten. Dit kan variëren van het schoonmaken van groenten en fruit tot het opzetten van de juiste kooktoestellen.

Profiel van de ideale kandidaat:

  • Ervaring in de Thaise keuken: Je hebt ervaring met de Thaise keuken. Kennis van de typische smaken en ingrediënten is een groot voordeel.
  • Flexibiliteit: Je bent beschikbaar om te werken op zaterdagen en zondagen, omdat deze tijden vaak drukker zijn in de horeca.
  • Teamspeler: Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en kunt goed samenwerken met andere medewerkers in de keuken.
  • Resultaatgericht: Je werkt snel en efficiënt om de gerechten op tijd en van hoge kwaliteit te leveren.
  • Creatief: Je hebt oog voor detail en houdt ervan om nieuwe dingen te proberen en je steentje bij te dragen aan het creatieve proces in de keuken.
