Wat ga je doen als Hydroloog? Als Hydroloog houd je je bezig met uiteenlopende vraagstukken op het gebied van grondwater, oppervlaktewater en meer. Je analyseert complexe hydrologische vraagstukken en vertaalt onderzoeksresultaten naar heldere adviezen voor opdrachtgevers. Afhankelijk van jouw ervaring krijg je daarbij de ruimte om zelfstandig projecten te leiden of je verder te ontwikkelen richting een adviserende of projectgerichte rol. • uitvoeren van hydrologische en geohydrologische onderzoeken • analyseren van grondwaterstanden, bodemopbouw en watersystemen • uitvoeren en interpreteren van grondwatermodelleringen • adviseren over grondwaterstanden, infiltratie, drainage en bemaling • bijdragen aan klimaatadaptieve oplossingen binnen gebiedsontwikkelingen en stedelijke projecten • vertalen van onderzoeksresultaten naar praktische en uitvoerbare maatregelen • samenwerken met collega's vanuit water, bodem, civiele techniek en andere disciplines

Functie-eisen: Wie ben jij? Voor deze functie zoeken we een inhoudelijk sterke en nieuwsgierige Hydroloog die graag werkt aan complexe vraagstukken binnen de fysieke leefomgeving. Je vindt het interessant om data en modellen te vertalen naar praktische adviezen en oplossingen. Daarbij kun je zelfstandig werken, maar zoek je ook actief de samenwerking met collega's en opdrachtgevers. Verder breng je het volgende mee: • een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding, bijvoorbeeld Civiele Techniek, Watermanagement of een vergelijkbare richting • minimaal 4 jaar ervaring binnen een soortgelijke rol • kennis van grondwater en/of oppervlaktewatersystemen • ervaring met relevante software en/of modellen binnen het hydrologische vakgebied is een pré • je vindt het leuk om samen te werken met verschillende disciplines
