The posting

Voor een moderne en sterk geautomatiseerde productieomgeving in de regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Industrial CAD & Layout Engineer die graag technisch ontwerpt en ervoor zorgt dat machines, productielijnen en installaties perfect op elkaar aansluiten.

Dit is geen klassieke projectfunctie waarin je vooral bezig bent met meetings en administratie. De nadruk ligt heel duidelijk op 3D-CAD, technische layouts en mechanische uitwerking.

Nieuwe machines en installaties worden vaak aangeleverd door externe machinebouwers. Jij zorgt er intern voor dat deze correct geïntegreerd worden in de bestaande productieomgeving. Van transportbanen en ondersteunende constructies tot machineverbindingen en volledige layouts: jij vertaalt de technische situatie naar een praktisch en uitvoerbaar ontwerp.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je bent ongeveer 90% van je tijd bezig met 3D-CAD, layouts en technisch tekenwerk.
  • Je ontwerpt technische oplossingen voor uitbreidingen, wijzigingen en optimalisaties binnen bestaande productielijnen.
  • Je werkt machineverbindingen, transportsystemen, ondersteunende constructies en industriële layouts technisch uit.
  • Je voert opmetingen uit op de werkvloer en vertaalt bestaande situaties naar correcte 3D-modellen.
  • Je bepaalt hoe nieuwe machines en bestaande installaties technisch op elkaar kunnen worden aangesloten.
  • Je verwerkt wijzigingen aan machines, lijnen en infrastructuur in de bestaande technische plannen.
  • Je houdt tekeningen, layouts en technische documentatie continu up-to-date.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Project Engineers, onderhoudstechniekers, productie en externe machinebouwers.
  • Je houdt tijdens het ontwerpen rekening met maakbaarheid, montage, toegankelijkheid en onderhoudsvriendelijkheid.
  • Je volgt jouw ontwerpen ook praktisch op de werkvloer en controleert of oplossingen technisch uitvoerbaar zijn.
  • Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen aan bestaande installaties en stelt zelf technische optimalisaties voor.
  • Je ondersteunt technische projecten met nauwkeurige tekeningen en layouts waarmee productie en externe partners onmiddellijk aan de slag kunnen.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je hebt een technische bachelor in bijvoorbeeld Elektromechanica, Ontwerp- en Productietechnologie, Mechanisch Ontwerp of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Relevante ervaring als CAD Designer, Mechanical Designer, Layout Engineer of Technisch Tekenaar kan een diploma compenseren.
  • Je hebt ervaring met 3D-CAD en mechanisch ontwerp binnen machinebouw, productie of een industriële omgeving.
  • Je beschikt over een sterk ruimtelijk en technisch inzicht.
  • Je begrijpt hoe machines, constructies en transportsystemen praktisch worden opgebouwd en gemonteerd.
  • Ervaring met transportbanen, machineframes, staalconstructies, plaatwerk, piping of industriële layouts is een sterke troef.
  • Je haalt energie uit een functie waarin je zelf nog veel kunt tekenen en ontwerpen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, maar verliest praktische uitvoerbaarheid nooit uit het oog.
  • Je vindt het vanzelfsprekend om regelmatig op de werkvloer te staan voor opmetingen, controles en technische afstemming.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en beschikt over een basiskennis Frans.
