Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als Industrieel Schilder Treinen (Carrossier) zorg jij er mee voor dat de reizigerstreinen er piekfijn uitzien. Je hebt daarmee een grote impact op de reizigers. Een comfortabele reis begint al op het perron: een mooi afgewerkte trein het station zien binnenrijden pleziert iedere reiziger.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?

Als Industrieel Schilder Treinen (Carrossier) zijn er verschillende werkzaamheden:

Het voorbereiden van treinen voor schildering:

  • Je staat in voor een mooie afwerking van de trein door deze te schuren, te plamuren en perfect uit te kleven.
  • Ook zal je ingezet worden bij het korrelstralen van rijtuigen en wielstellen of onderdelen en bij de eindafwerking, schilderen en beletteren van de treinen.

Daarnaast word je op bepaalde momenten ook ingeschakeld voor het reinigen van rijtuigen en onderdelen:

  • Je reinigt de onderzijde van de rijtuigen en grote onderdelen met behulp van een hogedrukreiniger.
  • Je brengt graffitiverwijderaar aan en maakt ruiten en zijflanken van het rijtuig weer graffitivrij.
  • Je zorgt dat de WC tanks geledigd en gespoeld worden met behulp van een pompwagen.

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?

  • Je hebt een getuigschrift van de tweede graad beroepsonderwijs studiegebied Auto” georiënteerd naar carrosserie of in het studiegebied “Bouw” georiënteerd naar (industrieel) schilderen, of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest of min. 2 jaar relevante werkervaring als carrossier of industrieel schilder.
  • Je hebt ervaring als schilder/carrossier in een industriële omgeving.
  • Je vindt het fijn om met een team in een ploegensysteem (6u-14u en 14u-22u) te werken.

Daarnaast:

  • Je bent vertrouwd met industriële schildering.
  • Je hebt een goede technische feeling waardoor je ook uitdagendere opdrachten kunt uitvoeren.

Je zal werken in de Centrale Werkplaats van Mechelen, vlak bij station Mechelen.
