Le plateau de gériatrie aigue accueille des patients de plus de 75 ans, présentant des profils polypathologiques et instables. Avec une durée de séjour de 10 jours minimum, l'objectif est clair : poser un diagnostic global et construire un véritable projet de soins personnalisé, en lien étroit avec le patient et son entourage. L'unité travaille en articulation constante avec plusieurs services clés : - les urgences, - les soins intensifs, - l'hôpital de jour gériatrique C'est un service en pleine évolution, au cœur des enjeux démographiques actuels. La gériatrie aigue est plus que jamais un service d'avenir. Votre rôle au quotidien : En tant qu'infirmier-e, vous jouez un rôle central dans la prise en charge globale du patient : - Vous participez activement à l'élaboration du projet thérapeutique, en apportant votre regard clinique. - Votre jugement clinique vous permet d'ajuster quotidiennement les soins en fonction de l'évolution du patient. - Vous vous inscrivez dans une véritable dynamique de collaboration interdisciplinaire. - Vous réalisez des soins techniques adaptés à la fragilité gériatrique, nécessitant précision et dextérité :

- VAC - pansements complexes - gestion de sondes - voies centrales - cathéters bouchonnés - Vous participez activement à la mobilisation des patients, essentielle à leur récupération.

Conditions : - Vous êtes détenteur d'un diplôme d'infirmier bachelier (A1), breveté (A2) ou êtes détenteur d'une équivalence de diplôme fournie par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles - Vous avez une connaissance parfaite du français (niveau B2) Atouts : - La spécialisation en gériatrie - Notions de néerlandais et d'anglais Nous recherchons un-e professionnel-le : - Doté-e d'un fort jugement clinique - Autonome, tout en sachant travailler en équipe - Curieux-se, questionnant ses pratiques et en recherche d'amélioration continue - À l'aise dans des situations complexes et évolutives - Sensible à la prise en charge globale et humaine du patient âgé
