Je stapt in bij lopende en nieuwe initiatieven en brengt er ritme, structuur en voortgang in - zonder de creativiteit en wendbaarheid van innovatie te verliezen. Je helpt gemeenten hun verandervraag scherp te krijgen, faciliteert besluitvorming en zorgt dat essentiële stappen worden gezet, ook als het schuurt. Je bent niet zelf verantwoordelijk voor het beheer, maar zorgt er wél voor dat dit onderwerp op de juiste momenten op tafel ligt. Je werkt volgens de GROEI-aanpak en zet de daarbinnen ontwikkelde instrumenten in (intake- en beoordelingscriteria, fase-overgangen van maximaal twee jaar, SOK, governance-modellen, impactprofiel). Je opereert als single point of contact in het estafettemodel: jij houdt regie en schakelt gericht interne expertise in (juridisch, inkoop, financiën) waar nodig. Afhankelijk van fase en vraagstuk beweeg je tussen rollen - samenwerkingsregisseur die bestuurlijke en ambtelijke partners verbindt, of community manager die een lerend netwerk bouwt. Je fungeert daarbij als informatiesluis richting VNG: je verzamelt, analyseert en vertaalt inzichten uit initiatieven naar generieke producten voor álle gemeenten. Het doel: goede initiatieven niet laten stranden in vrijblijvendheid, maar ze met beproefde instrumenten de stap naar gestructureerde aanpak, borging en bredere toepassing laten maken.
