WVI zoekt een intergemeentelijk beleidsmedewerker informatieveiligheid & privacy (DPO) om lokale besturen in West-Vlaanderen te ondersteunen bij hun uitdagingen rond GDPR, informatieveiligheid en digitale weerbaarheid.

WAT GA JIJ DOEN ?

Als beleidsmedewerker informatieveiligheid en aangewezen Data Protection Officer (DPO) ondersteun je meerdere lokale besturen. Je adviseert directie en medewerkers, bouwt mee aan beleid en zorgt ervoor dat privacy en informatieveiligheid niet alleen wettelijke verplichtingen zijn, maar ook effectief ingebed raken in de dagelijkse werking.

Je werkt vanuit de gemeentebesturen die je begeleidt, vanuit het WVI-kantoor in Brugge en gedeeltelijk van thuis uit.

Privacy en GDPR

  • Je ondersteunt lokale besturen bij de toepassing van de GDPR-wetgeving.
  • Je adviseert directies, managementteams en medewerkers over privacyvraagstukken.
  • Je beheert en actualiseert verwerkingsregisters.
  • Je begeleidt DPIA's (Data Protection Impact Assessments) en risicoanalyses.
  • Je ondersteunt bij datalekken en privacy-incidenten.
  • Je waakt over de naleving van relevante privacywetgeving en vertaalt nieuwe regelgeving naar de praktijk.

Informatieveiligheid

  • Je helpt bij het uitwerken, implementeren en opvolgen van het informatieveiligheidsbeleid.
  • Je voert controles en audits uit en formuleert verbetervoorstellen.
  • Je begeleidt besturen bij de opvolging van beveiligingsmaatregelen.
  • Je ondersteunt de opvolging van incidenten en risico's.
  • Je draagt bij aan de rapportering rond informatieveiligheid en digitale weerbaarheid.

Sensibilisering en advies

  • Je creëert bewustwording rond privacy en cyberveiligheid.
  • Je organiseert infosessies en opleidingen voor medewerkers.
  • Je fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor vragen rond gegevensbescherming en informatieveiligheid.
  • Je bouwt expertise op en deelt deze binnen het netwerk van lokale besturen en collega's.

WIE BEN JIJ ?

Je combineert interesse voor wetgeving, organisatieontwikkeling en digitale technologie met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma.
  • Interesse in privacy, GDPR, cybersecurity of informatieveiligheid.
  • Kennis van de GDPR-wetgeving of de bereidheid om je hierin verder te verdiepen.
  • Een analytische en gestructureerde aanpak.
  • De vaardigheid om complexe materie helder uit te leggen aan verschillende doelgroepen.
  • Zin voor initiatief en verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Een rijbewijs B.

Een extra troef

  • Ervaring binnen een lokaal bestuur.
  • Ervaring met informatieveiligheid, privacy of ICT.
  • Een certificering of opleiding Data Protection Officer.
