AFB gaat voor een moderne machinebouwer op zoek naar een Internationaal Service Engineer Elektromechanica die bereid is tot 60% buitenlandse verplaatsingen te maken. De overige 40% werk je ter plaatse regio Gent. Je komt terecht bij een modern bedrijf gekenmerkt door een mensgerichte werkcultuur waar je ownership en verantwoordelijkheid kan nemen in je werk en serviceprojecten. Je werk onder meteen vast contract onbepaalde duur.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Als Service Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de installatie en opstart van volledig nieuwe machinelijnen als dringende interventieopdrachten, wereldwijd.
  • Je bent hiervoor tot 60% van je tijd aanwezig in het buitenland bij industriële klanten die actief zijn binnen diverse hoogtechnologische sectoren.
  • Vooraleer de machinelijn verzonden wordt laat je de installatie proefdraaien in het atelier, voer je de nodige functionele testen uit, en controleer je of alles volgens het project aanwezig is.
  • Ter voorbereiding van de installatie verzorg je de nodige planning en werkschema's zodat je op een kwalitatieve manier de installatie kan leiden bij de klant.
  • Ter plaatse sta je in voor de opstart, testing, en finetuning van de installatie zodat die op maat van de klant kan opgeleverd worden. Je ontdekt storingen en voorziet technische oplossingen.
  • Na de oplevering train je de eindklant in het gebruik en de functionaliteiten van de installatie en informeert hen over de technologische werking ervan.
  • Daarnaast sta je in voor onderhoud en interventies op de machines die je bij de klanten hebt geplaatst.
  • Je beschikt over een technische Bachelor of Masterdiploma zoals Elektromechanica of Elektrotechniek.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van elektromechanische systemen en hebt goed basiskennis van automatisatie.
  • Ervaring is een plus maar ook pas afgestudeerden met de juiste motivatie komen in aanmerking.
  • Je bent hands-on ingesteld en hebt een sterk logisch inzicht om een antwoord te bieden aan technische uitdagingen en vraagstukken.
  • Je werkt planmatig en kan prioriteiten stellen. Je werkt hierbij zelfstandig maar functioneert evengoed in teams.
  • Je bent proactief, neemt het initiatief in je project en bent sterk dienstverlenend ingesteld.
  • Je bent bereid om ongeveer 60% van je tijd naar klanten in het buitenland te reizen.
