Hier ga je aan de slag

Een pomp diep in een tankschip die niet doet wat hij moet doen. Geen standaard werkplek. En ook geen standaard techniek. Je gaat werken bij een Nederlandse specialist in elektrisch aangedreven pompsystemen voor de maritieme, offshore en industriële markt. De systemen worden gebruikt voor het veilig en efficiënt verpompen van vloeistoffen aan boord van onder andere tankers en offshore-installaties.

De organisatie heeft meer dan 40 jaar ervaring en de pompsystemen zijn wereldwijd geïnstalleerd op meer dan 1.500 tankers. Engineering en assemblage vinden plaats in Nederland.

Je komt terecht bij een internationale organisatie met ongeveer 150 collega’s. Technische service wordt wereldwijd uitgevoerd.

De functie

Dit ga je doen

Als Internationaal Servicemonteur Maritieme Pompsystemen weet je vooraf nooit precies waar je volgende technische uitdaging ligt. Veel werkzaamheden voer je uit aan boord van schepen. Regelmatig liggen deze in een dok. Je voert onderhoud en reparaties uit en stelt nieuwe pompsystemen in bedrijf.

Daarbij ligt jouw technische focus vooral op mechanica. Maar moderne pompsystemen bestaan uit meer dan staal, lagers en draaiende delen. Je werkt ook met elektromotoren, frequentieregelaars en besturingssystemen.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

- Nieuwe elektrisch aangedreven pompsystemen testen en in bedrijf stellen

- Onderhoud en reparaties uitvoeren aan deepwell-pompen

- Mechanische én elektrische storingen analyseren en oplossen

- Elektromotoren en frequentieregelaars controleren tijdens servicewerk

- Lokale technici begeleiden en werkzaamheden op
