The posting

Een internationaal groeiende onderneming met hoofdzetel in West-Vlaanderen versterkt haar commerciële team met een International Sales Manager. Vanuit het hoofdkantoor wordt een centrale rol opgenomen in de verdere uitbouw van de Europese klantenportefeuille. De functie combineert commercieel relatiebeheer, business development en intensieve interne samenwerking. Ongeveer 90% van de tijd wordt vanuit de vestiging gewerkt; de overige 10% bestaat uit gerichte klantenbezoeken, internationale beurzen en commerciële afspraken.

Functie

  • Beheer en verdere uitbouw van een internationale klantenportefeuille.
  • Ontwikkeling van duurzame partnerships met bestaande en nieuwe klanten.
  • Detectie van commerciële opportuniteiten binnen bestaande markten en nieuwe regio's.
  • Realisatie van duurzame omzetgroei en rendabele samenwerkingen.
  • Opvolging van markttrends, concurrentie en evoluties binnen de voedingssector.
  • Actieve bijdrage aan de commerciële strategie en internationale marktpositionering.
  • Vertegenwoordiging van de onderneming op internationale vakbeurzen en tijdens klantenbezoeken.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met productie, R&D, kwaliteit, supply chain, planning en customer service.
  • Vertaling van klantbehoeften naar haalbare en kwalitatieve oplossingen.
  • Opvolging van offertes, forecasts, projectdossiers en leverafspraken
  • Analyse van commerciële resultaten en marktontwikkelingen.
  • Rapportering aan het management en formulering van verbetervoorstellen.

Profiel

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Enkele jaren ervaring binnen een internationale commerciële functie.
  • Ervaring binnen of affiniteit met de voedingsindustrie vormt een duidelijke meerwaarde.
  • Sterke commerciële en relationele vaardigheden.
  • Analytisch denkvermogen gecombineerd met een pragmatische aanpak.
  • Zelfstandig, ondernemend en resultaatgericht.
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels
  • Bereidheid tot beperkte internationale verplaatsingen (ca. 10%).
