In de regio Gent kom je terecht bij een internationale machinebouwer die gespecialiseerd is in het ontwikkelen van innovatieve maatwerkmachines voor hoogtechnologische productieomgevingen. Vanuit de Belgische hoofdzetel werk je samen met meer dan 200 technische collega's aan projecten voor klanten over de hele wereld, onder andere binnen de luchtvaart-, ruimtevaart- en maakindustrie. Dankzij de sterke groei, voortdurende innovatie en internationale ambitie krijg je de kans als Service Engineer om wereldwijd installaties op te starten, klanten technisch te ondersteunen en een cruciale rol te spelen in het succes van complexe automatiseringsprojecten.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Service Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de installatie, opstart en inbedrijfstelling van hoogtechnologische machines bij klanten wereldwijd
  • Daarnaast voer je voor de verzending van iedere machine de finale technische controles uit en verzeker je dat montage, functionaliteit en kwaliteit volledig voldoen aan de vooropgestelde normen
  • Verder voer je onderhouds- en service-interventies uit, analyseer en verhelp je technische storingen en bied je klanten zowel preventieve als curatieve ondersteuning, zowel in binnen- als buitenland
  • Ook zorg je voor een correcte rapportering van uitgevoerde interventies en verzorg je de administratieve opvolging van serviceopdrachten
  • Tot slot geef je technische opleidingen aan klanten en collega's, ondersteun je commerciële projecten vanuit jouw technische expertise en denk je actief mee over verbeteringen aan machines en installaties
  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Elektromechanica of beschikt over een gelijkwaardig technisch diploma aangevuld met relevante ervaring
  • Daarnaast ben je bereid om ongeveer 80% van je tijd internationaal te reizen
  • Tot slot communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
