In this hands-on engineering internship, you will investigate the feasibility of timber structures for industrial platforms. You will create innovative 3D designs, establish clear structural principles, and evaluate the full operational impact on engineering, costs, and lead times. Your research and practical insights will directly shape Vanderlande's next steps toward sustainable platform design. Department Description You will join the Steel Competence Team within the Engineering Department of Domain Distribution. Our specialized team plays a pivotal role in delivering key projects for global market leaders such as Amazon, DHL, and UPS during both sales and execution phases. We design complex platforms, coordinate with international suppliers, provide expert structural advice, and partner with cost engineers to budget major steelwork projects.
