Vanuit Leuven ondersteun je toonaangevende financiële instellingen bij het analyseren en interpreteren van complexe data en het inspelen op veranderende wettelijke en reglementaire vereisten. Verantwoordelijkheden

Als Investment Management Data Analyst speel je een belangrijke rol in het ondersteunen van klanten bij het optimaal benutten van innovatieve financiële softwareoplossingen. Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:

  • Financiële instellingen ondersteunen bij het doeltreffend gebruik van technologische oplossingen en oplossingen op maat uitwerken die aansluiten bij hun behoeften.
  • Europese financiële regelgeving opvolgen en samenwerken met softwareontwikkelaars om nieuwe vereisten in de software te implementeren.
  • Opleidingssessies voor klanten voorbereiden en geven, en duidelijke softwaredocumentatie opstellen.
  • Financiële data analyseren, inconsistenties opsporen en waar nodig de opvolging en correctieve acties coördineren.
  • Nieuwe softwarefunctionaliteiten testen en actief bijdragen aan de continue verbetering van de oplossingen.
  • Sterke relaties opbouwen met klanten en interne teams, met occasionele internationale verplaatsingen.
  • Gespecialiseerde kennis ontwikkelen en geleidelijk uitgroeien tot een Subject Matter Expert op het gebied van investment management-data en reglementaire rapportering.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in de Handelsingenieurswetenschappen, bij voorkeur aangevuld met ongeveer twee jaar ervaring in data-analyse, financiën of audit.
  • Je hebt een oprechte interesse in financiële markten en volgt het financiële nieuws op de voet. Ervaring met persoonlijke beleggingen is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt een basiskennis van Python of bent sterk gemotiveerd om je technische vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen.
  • Je hebt relevante ervaring opgedaan bij een Big Four-kantoor, een consultancybedrijf in de financiële sector, een bank of een verzekeringsmaatschappij.
  • Je bent vlot in het Nederlands en hebt een goede beheersing van het Engels.
  • Je bent flexibel, houdt ervan complexe informatie te doorgronden en gaat uitdagingen met een kritische en analytische ingesteldheid aan.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk, kunt zelfstandig functioneren en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Je werkt graag rechtstreeks met klanten en staat open voor occasionele internationale verplaatsingen.
