The posting

Voor een warm en betrokken gezin zijn we op zoek naar een zorgzame en zelfstandige inwonende nanny die tijdens de schoolweek een vertrouwd gezicht wil zijn voor hun zoon van 15 jaar.

Hun zoon gaat naar school in Waterloo en verblijft daar tijdens de week. Hij is een zelfstandige, vriendelijke en respectvolle tiener die zijn eigen ritme heeft, maar tegelijk veel waarde hecht aan een rustige en aangename thuisomgeving.

Daarom zoekt het gezin iemand die van dinsdagnamiddag tot vrijdagochtend mee in Waterloo verblijft. Niet om voortdurend op te passen, maar om er te zijn wanneer dat nodig is: een vertrouwde volwassene die zorgt voor structuur, gezelligheid en een gevoel van thuis.

Dit is een bijzondere functie voor iemand die graag met tieners werkt en begrijpt dat aanwezig zijn soms het grootste verschil kan maken.

Wat ga je doen als nanny in dit gezin?

Je hebt een heel gevarieerd takenpakket waar enerzijds de zorg voor de kinderen voorop staat en dit verder aangevuld met lichte huishoudelijke taken.

  • aanwezig zijn wanneer hij na school thuiskomt
  • een warme en rustige thuissfeer creëren
  • maaltijden en praktische zaken mee verzorgen
  • een oogje in het zeil houden bij huiswerk, planning en dagelijkse afspraken
  • structuur bieden waar nodig, met respect voor zijn groeiende zelfstandigheid
  • lichte huishoudelijke taken opnemen, zoals opruimen, de was doen en bedden opmaken
  • een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt zijn tijdens de week
  • op vrijdag mee instaan voor de praktische overgang naar het weekend

Je krijgt een eigen kamer tijdens je verblijf in Waterloo, zodat je ook jouw eigen privacy en rustmomenten hebt.

Wie zoeken wij?

Wij zoeken iemand die:

  • beschikbaar is om 3 nachten per week in te wonen (dinsdag tot vrijdag)

Ervaring met tieners is zeker een troef. Nog belangrijker is dat je aanvoelt dat een 14-jarige vooral nood heeft aan vertrouwen, respect en een veilige basis waarin hij zichzelf kan zijn.
