Deine Rolle im Team:

Daten von Maschinen auf der ganzen Welt verfügbar machen - vom Edge Device bis in die Cloud. Du entwickelst die Services, über die Maschinen- und Prozessdaten in unsere digitalen Produkte kommen. Damit sitzt du an einer der spannendsten Stellen im System: zwischen Spritzgießmaschine, Edge und Cloud.

* Du entwickelst Backend Services zwischen unseren ENGEL Edge Devices und den Cloud-Applikationen sowohl direkt am Edge Device als auch in unserer IoT-Plattform.

* Du arbeitest mit Daten aus unseren Spritzgießmaschinen von Maschinenstatus und Produktionsinformationen bis hin zu Prozessdaten. Dabei sorgst du dafür, dass diese Daten zuverlässig und performant verarbeitet werden - auch bei mehreren tausend Maschinen.

* Im agilen Team entwickelst du bestehende Services weiter und gestaltest neue Lösungen mit spannenden Themen rund um IoT, verteilte Systeme und moderne Softwarearchitektur.

* Du denkst über deinen eigenen Service hinaus und betrachtest, wie deine Lösung mit anderen Komponenten zusammenspielt, welche Auswirkungen Änderungen auf die Datenpipeline haben und was letztlich bei unseren Kunden ankommt.

* Du arbeitest mit einem modernen Tech Stack, der vor allem auf Java, Spring Boot und Gradle basiert. Ergänzend setzen wir auf Kotlin, Spring WebFlux, Docker, Kafka, MQTT, Kubernetes und Linux.

Das bringst du mit:

* Technische Ausbildung (HTL, FH/Uni) mit Schwerpunkt Software Engineering, Informatik oder vergleichbar

* Gute Kenntnisse in Java, Spring Boot und Gradle sowie Kotlin

* Interesse an IoT, verteilten Systemen und der Verarbeitung von Maschinendaten; Kubernetes, Docker, Mqtt, Kafka und Co. sind ein Plus

* Interesse an modernen AI-gestützten Entwicklungsmethoden

* Du arbeitest eigenständig, bist wissbegierig, analysierst komplexe Zusammenhänge mit Begeisterung und findest pragmatische Lösungswege.

* Du arbeitest gerne mit anderen Teams zusammen und möchtest das Gesamtsystem hinter deiner Software verstehen. Wir suchen Teamplayer_innen, die über den eigenen Code hinausdenken und gemeinsam nachhaltige Lösungen entwickeln.

* Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (mind. B2) für die Arbeit im internationalen Umfeld
