Over de functie

Als Netwerk Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, beheer en onderhoud van de netwerk- en securityinfrastructuur van onze klanten. Jij zorgt ervoor dat verbindingen betrouwbaar, veilig en optimaal presteren — zowel on-premise als in de cloud.

In jouw consultancy-rol werk je bij één van onze klanten, vaak voor een langere periode. Zo bouw je mee aan hun IT-omgeving en leer je de organisatie goed kennen. Tegelijkertijd houd je de afwisseling en groeikansen van consultancy — nieuwe klanten, nieuwe omgevingen, nieuwe uitdagingen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Beheren, configureren en optimaliseren van netwerkcomponenten (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN’s)
  • Implementeren van netwerkverbeteringen en securitymaatregelen
  • Analyseren en oplossen van netwerkincidenten en -storingen
  • Uitvoeren van netwerkmonitoring, capacity management en performance tuning
  • Meewerken aan migraties, upgrades en nieuwe netwerkprojecten
  • Documenteren van wijzigingen en adviseren over optimalisaties

Wie ben jij?

Jij bent een ervaren netwerkprofessional die denkt in verbindingen — letterlijk én figuurlijk. Je hebt oog voor details, werkt gestructureerd en vindt het leuk om te sparren over verbeteringen en innovaties binnen de infrastructuur.

Jij hebt:

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als netwerkbeheerder of netwerk engineer
  • Genoten van een IT-gerelateerde opleiding
  • Kennis van routing & switching, LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi en firewalls
  • Ervaring met merken als Cisco, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, of Palo Alto
  • Ervaring met netwerkmonitoringtools (bijv. PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix)
  • Basiskennis van security, cloud networking (Azure, AWS) of SD-WAN
  • Certificeringen zoals CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, of Aruba Certified zijn een plus
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal (Frans is een plus)

Als consultant word je uitgestuurd op opdrachten bij klanten over heel Vlaanderen. We kijken wel naar klanten in jouw regio. Onze consultancy opdrachten zijn voor langere termijn, bij één vaste klant.
