The posting

Wij zijn op zoek naar een zeer gemotiveerde en klantgerichte IT Lab Support Engineer (Senior Onsite Support Engineer) die operationele en projectmatige IT-ondersteuning biedt voor laboratoriumomgevingen in Zwijnaarde en Astene. De functie wordt voornamelijk op locatie uitgevoerd, met na 3 maanden de mogelijkheid om maximaal 1 dag per week van thuis uit te werken. In deze functie zorg je voor de beschikbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en beveiliging van Lab IT-systemen en -infrastructuur die onderzoeks- en ontwikkelingsactiviteiten ondersteunen.

Je treedt op als een betrouwbare IT-partner voor laboratoriummedewerkers. Je biedt hands-on ondersteuning, neemt het voortouw bij technische initiatieven, werkt mee aan Lab IT-projecten en zorgt ervoor dat de bedrijfsrichtlijnen op het gebied van cybersecurity en regelgeving worden nageleefd. De ideale kandidaat combineert sterke technische expertise met uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en een proactieve, servicegerichte ingesteldheid.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

IT-ondersteuning voor laboratoria

Bieden van eerstelijns en geavanceerde technische ondersteuning voor Lab IT-systemen, werkstations, laboratoriumapparatuur en bijbehorende infrastructuur.

Analyseren en oplossen van problemen met hardware, software, besturingssystemen en netwerken binnen laboratoriumomgevingen.

Zorgen voor een hoge beschikbaarheid van systemen en een minimale verstoring van de laboratoriumactiviteiten.

Projectuitvoering & implementatie

Meewerken aan de planning, implementatie en ondersteuning van nieuwe Lab IT-oplossingen en infrastructuurprojecten.

Ondersteunen van initiatieven voor technologievernieuwing, systeemupgrades en migraties.

Ervoor zorgen dat projecten worden uitgevoerd volgens de afgesproken deadlines, kwaliteitsnormen en bedrijfsvereisten.

Ondersteunen bij het valideren en implementeren van nieuwe technologieën die de productiviteit en efficiëntie binnen het laboratorium verbeteren.

Beveiliging & compliance

Toepassen van de bedrijfsrichtlijnen, standaarden en best practices op het gebied van cybersecurity binnen laboratoriumomgevingen.

Ervoor zorgen dat systemen voldoen aan de relevante beveiligings-, regelgevings- en operationele vereisten.

Ondersteunen bij het verhelpen van kwetsbaarheden, patchmanagement en de afhandeling van beveiligingsincidenten.

Vereiste kwalificaties

Aantoonbare ervaring in een functie binnen IT-support of systeembeheer.

Ervaring met het ondersteunen van wetenschappelijke, laboratorium-, productie- of gereguleerde omgevingen is een sterke troef.

Ervaring met deelname aan technische projecten en het coördineren van activiteiten met verschillende stakeholders.
