Robert Half is momenteel op zoek naar een IT Engineer Cybersecurity (M/V/X) in Merelbeke

Onze klant is een gevestigde en innovatieve organisatie binnen een technisch complexe omgeving met meerdere activiteiten en een sterke aanwezigheid in België. Het bedrijf combineert de warmte van een mensgerichte cultuur met de slagkracht van een grotere groep en zet sterk in op digitale veiligheid, samenwerking en duurzame groei.

De verantwoordelijkheden voor deze functie als IT Engineer Cybersecurity (M/V/X) zijn:

  • Je ondersteunt de verdere uitbouw en implementatie van cybersecurity binnen de organisatie, in lijn met actuele normen en vereisten zoals NIS2;
  • Je helpt beveiligingsmaatregelen verbeteren, opvolgen en actueel houden door nieuwe dreigingen en technologische evoluties actief te monitoren;
  • Je ziet mee toe op de correcte toepassing en naleving van securityrichtlijnen, procedures en policies binnen de IT-omgeving;
  • Je draagt bij aan de dagelijkse IT-operations en zorgt mee voor veilige configuraties van systemen, toepassingen en infrastructuur;
  • Je onderzoekt beveiligingsincidenten, volgt deze correct op en ondersteunt in een gepaste triage en afhandeling;
  • Je voert risicoanalyses uit bij nieuwe hardware- en software-implementaties en adviseert over een veilige integratie binnen de bestaande omgeving;
  • Je werkt samen met interne stakeholders om security en operationele IT-processen technisch en organisatorisch op elkaar af te stemmen;
  • Je neemt deel aan initiatieven rond security awareness en helpt het cyberbewustzijn bij eindgebruikers te versterken;
  • Je start bewust vanuit een brede IT-context zodat je de systemen, processen en interne werking grondig leert kennen.

Profiel:

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in informatica, cybersecurity of een gelijkaardige richting, of je bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in IT en cybersecurity en wil je hierin verder verdiepen;
  • Je brengt bij voorkeur al relevante ervaring mee in informatiebeveiliging, IT-support, systeembeheer of infrastructuurbeheer;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van netwerken en systemen, bijvoorbeeld rond firewalls, subnetting, routing, VLANs, segmentatie, Microsoft 365 of Entra ID;
  • Je begrijpt hoe identiteiten, endpoints, applicaties, cloudomgevingen en netwerkgekoppelde toestellen functioneren binnen een moderne IT-omgeving;
  • Je hebt kennis van cybersecurityprincipes zoals zero trust, least privilege en identity-first security;
  • Je bent vertrouwd met endpoint-, e-mail- en cloudbeveiliging, en kennis van EDR/XDR-platformen is een mooie troef;
  • Je hebt inzicht in loganalyse, incidentonderzoek, triage en de basisprincipes van incident response;
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en een oplossingsgerichte aanpak;
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar gelooft vooral in teamwerk en gedeeld succes;
  • Je weet cybersecuritythema's helder en enthousiasmerend over te brengen naar eindgebruikers;
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur bijkomende kennis van compliance- en securitykaders zoals NIS2, ISO-normen of CIS-controls;

Je beschikt idealiter over relevante certificeringen zoals CompTIA Security+ of SSCP, of bent gemotiveerd om deze te behalen.
