The posting

De focus van deze functie ligt in eerste instantie op extern projectmanagement.

Je neemt de leiding over grotere en strategische softwareprojecten binnen de verschillende productdomeinen van B.Rekencentra. Je bewaakt planning, budget, scope, kwaliteit en communicatie, en zorgt ervoor dat klanten, developers en stakeholders goed op elkaar afgestemd blijven.

Je werkt in een context waar projecten technisch complex zijn en waar klanten rekenen op een betrouwbare opvolging en duidelijke communicatie. Daardoor krijg je een rol met veel verantwoordelijkheid, autonomie en zichtbaarheid.

Daarnaast krijg je op termijn ook de kans om mee na te denken over hoe projectwerking, rapportering en interne processen verder geoptimaliseerd kunnen worden. Vandaag ligt voor jou daar echter niet de primaire focus van de rol — het belangrijkste is dat projecten kwalitatief en professioneel geleid worden.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je leidt grotere softwareprojecten van A tot Z;
  • je bewaakt planning, budgetten, scope en kwaliteit;
  • je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor klanten en externe stakeholders;
  • je stemt af met developmentteams en interne betrokkenen;
  • je bewaakt risico’s en zorgt voor een gestructureerde projectaanpak;
  • je rapporteert over voortgang, budgetten en mogelijke aandachtspunten;
  • je helpt projecten organisatorisch beheersbaar en transparant houden.

We zoeken een medior IT Project Manager die al een eerste stevige ervaring heeft opgebouwd binnen software- of IT-projecten en klaar is om meer verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.

Iemand die:

  • graag ownership neemt;
  • analytisch en gestructureerd werkt;
  • energie haalt uit complexe projecten;
  • rustig blijft onder druk;
  • sterk communiceert met klanten en stakeholders;
  • pragmatisch denkt en problemen oplossingsgericht benadert.

Je hoeft geen specialist te zijn in aviation of containerterminals. Affiniteit met logistieke of operationele omgevingen is een sterke plus, maar ervaring binnen softwareprojecten en projectgovernance is essentieel.

Daarnaast beschik je idealiter over:

  • een bacheloropleiding of gelijkwaardige ervaring;
  • ongeveer 3 à 5 jaar ervaring als IT Project Manager;
  • kennis van projectmethodologieën of governanceframeworks;
  • een professioneel niveau Engels.
