Jouw verantwoordelijkheden voor deze functie als IT Security Expert (M/V/X)

  • Je werkt mee aan het uittekenen, implementeren en ondersteunen van processen rond IT security, risk en compliance.
  • Je helpt de security-, compliance- en risicostrategie te formaliseren en vertaalt deze naar een concreet operationeel stappenplan.
  • Je ontwikkelt, onderhoudt en implementeert beleidskaders, standaarden, procedures, werkinstructies en documentatie in samenwerking met verschillende stakeholders binnen business en IT.
  • Je ondersteunt interne teams bij security- en risicogerelateerde verbeter- en mitigatie-initiatieven.
  • Je vertaalt relevante regelgeving naar de praktijk en zorgt voor een werkbare implementatie binnen de organisatie.
  • Je voert risicoanalyses uit, waaronder risicobeoordelingen, business impact analyses en evaluaties van kwetsbaarheden en bedreigingen, ook in relatie tot externe partners.
  • Je implementeert, optimaliseert en controleert IT security- en risicocontroles binnen de IT-omgeving.
  • Je rapporteert over statistieken en indicatoren met betrekking tot IT risk, compliance en security processen.
  • Je ondersteunt interne en externe audits rond compliance en beveiliging.
  • Je volgt evoluties binnen IT security en risicobeheer nauwgezet op en onderzoekt nieuwe technologische mogelijkheden.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in IT security, compliance en risicobeheer en weet ook anderen daarin mee te nemen.
  • Je denkt kritisch, werkt analytisch en communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders.
  • Je bent een teamspeler die graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt en zichzelf voortdurend wil blijven uitdagen.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van erkende standaarden en frameworks zoals ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT en OWASP.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met relevante regelgeving binnen een gereguleerde sector, zoals bijvoorbeeld DORA.
  • Je houdt van efficiëntie en denkt graag mee na over het automatiseren van terugkerende taken.
  • Je hebt een basiskennis van courante IT-domeinen zoals netwerken, servers, databases en development.
  • Je beschikt over enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen IT security, risk of compliance.
  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma, bijvoorbeeld in Handelsingenieur, Computerwetenschappen, Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen, Informatica of Industriële Wetenschappen.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands.
  • Je brengt naast expertise ook een gezonde dosis humor en enthousiasme mee.
