Je komt terecht in een internationale industriële organisatie met sterke verankering in België en meerdere Europese vestigingen. Het bedrijf is actief in infrastructuur en industrie en kenmerkt zich door een no-nonsense cultuur, technische expertise en langetermijnvisie.

De IT-omgeving is vandaag stabiel, maar bevindt zich in een duidelijke transitiemodus: van lokaal en pragmatisch naar meer structuur, standaardisatie en enterprise governance, met verhoogde aandacht voor security en compliance op Europees niveau.

Dit creëert ruimte voor een IT-profiel dat graag orde, vooruitgang en duurzaamheid brengt.

Jobomschrijving

Als IT System Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en verdere evolutie van de IT-infrastructuur. Je werkt proactief en denkt structureel, met focus op verbetering en preventie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Beheer en optimalisatie van de Windows Server-omgeving
  • Patch management en vulnerability management (o.a. Tanium, Qualys)
  • Actieve bijdrage aan IT-security en compliance
  • 2e en 3e lijn support voor eindgebruikers
  • Analyse van incidenten via root cause analysis en structurele oplossingen
  • Meewerken aan IT-projecten (infrastructuur, security, internationale roll-outs)

Deze functie draait niet om “brandjes blussen”, maar om bouwen, standaardiseren en professionaliseren.

Team & samenwerking

Je maakt deel uit van een klein IT-team (±3 personen), wat betekent:

  • korte communicatielijnen
  • directe impact van je werk
  • veel autonomie en vertrouwen

Daarnaast werk je samen met interne stakeholders én internationale collega’s binnen Europa.

Must-have

  • 4–5 jaar ervaring in IT-infrastructuur of system engineering
  • Sterke kennis van Windows Server
  • Ervaring met patching en vulnerability management
  • Analytisch denkvermogen en focus op root cause analyse
  • Procesmatig en gestructureerd werken, inclusief documentatie
  • Hands-on mindset: combinatie van support en infrastructuur

Talen

  • Nederlands of Frans als hoofdtaal
  • Goede kennis van de tweede landstaal
  • Engels is noodzakelijk in het kader van internationale samenwerking

Nice-to-have

  • Kennis van firewalls en netwerkconcepten
  • Ervaring met Azure / Entra ID / cloudomgevingen
  • Kennis van Power BI of SQL
  • Ervaring met Intune of CRM-omgevingen
  • Achtergrond in industriële of productieomgevingen
  • Projectervaring in internationale context
