Deze Belgische softwareorganisatie bouwt al jaren aan hun eigen SaaS-platform dat complexe processen automatiseert. Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar schaalbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid, security en integraties cruciaal zijn. De organisatie groeit sterk en zoekt developers die niet gewoon tickets uitvoeren, maar actief mee nadenken over hoe het product en de technologie beter kunnen. Passie, ondernemerschap, nieuwsgierigheid en ownership staan er centraal: je krijgt ruimte om ideeën uit te werken, nieuwe technologieën te onderzoeken en effectief impact te hebben op het product. Ook AI wordt al lang omarmt als tool in hun developmentcycle om deze efficiënter en slimmer te laten lopen

Jobomschrijving

Je werkt rechtstreeks mee aan de kern van het platform. Je ontwikkelt en optimaliseert schaalbare, performante en veilige backendfunctionaliteiten, met een sterke focus op Java, Spring en Go. Je bouwt nieuwe functionaliteiten, verbetert bestaande architectuur en dataverwerking en denkt actief mee over technische keuzes. Je kijkt verder dan enkel de concrete developmenttaak en stelt jezelf voortdurend de vraag hoe processen, code en architectuur eenvoudiger, betrouwbaarder of efficiënter kunnen worden. Verder ontwikkel en onderhoud je ook API’s en webservices voor o.a. integraties met klanten. Je werkt in een hecht en complementair developmentteam. Je krijgt veel verantwoordelijkheid en kan je ideeën snel omzetten naar concrete verbeteringen. AI maakt steeds meer deel uit van de dagelijkse developmentwerking. Er wordt verwacht dat je tools zoals Claude, GitHub Copilot of gelijkaardige AI-developmenttools proactief gebruikt om sneller te leren, betere oplossingen te onderzoeken en je developmentproces te versterken. Niet om blind code te genereren, maar om slimmer en efficiënter te bouwen.
