Take ownership of innovative naval architecture challenges at High Tech Campus Eindhoven Company information Our client is a maritime technology startup based at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, with funding secured. The company is developing a proprietary, parametrically scalable interface framework that connects vessel structures with interchangeable modules. Joining at an early stage, you will play a key role in developing and validating this technology, with substantial technical responsibility and direct involvement in design decisions Vacancy information As Naval Architect, you take the vessel design supplied by the client as your starting point. You integrate the proprietary interface framework into that design and take responsibility for the naval architecture calculations and simulations needed to substantiate the resulting vessel. Your scope includes engineering the hull and its internal module cavity around the interface framework, validating the impact on overall vessel performance, and delivering precise interface specifications to selected suppliers. You work closely with the Mechanical & Structural Engineer to ensure that the vessel structure and mechanical interfaces function together. Key responsibilities: - Interface integration: Integrate the parametrically scalable interfaces into the vessel's primary hull structure, aligned with the client's design and operational requirements. - Hull and cavity engineering: Engineer the hull geometry and internal module cavity required to accommodate the interface framework. - Vessel performance: Calculate, simulate and substantiate the hydrodynamic performance, stability, resistance and ...
