The posting

Als Junior Software Engineer groei je bij Strado Group stap voor stap mee in het bouwen van backend- en frontendservices in Java. Je krijgt daarbij begeleiding van squad leads, analisten en data scientists, en je krijgt de ruimte om je te verdiepen in microservices, data-integratie en AI-ondersteunde development.

Jouw rol

Als Junior Software Engineer werk je samen in een team met squad leads, analisten, developers en data scientists. Onder hun begeleiding ontwikkel je stap voor stap je vaardigheden verder.

Je maakt kennis met de ontwikkeling en het onderhoud van backend- en frontendservices in Java, en je leert werken met microservices en API's. Je bouwt mee aan de integratie van verschillende datastromen in onze architectuur, met aandacht voor codekwaliteit, testbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid.

Je leert AI-tools slim inzetten in je werk als developer. Je denkt mee over systeemarchitectuur en leert oplossingen ontwerpen die schaalbaar en stabiel zijn. Je neemt actief deel aan sprintplanningen, code reviews en retrospectives, en zo groei je mee in de manier van werken van het team.

  • Je hebt een relevante opleiding of een eerste ervaring in software engineering, en je hebt affiniteit met Java.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig naar microservices, API's en data-integratie, en je wil schaalbare services leren bouwen.
  • Je wil groeien in best practices zoals test-driven development, continuous integration en geautomatiseerde testen.
  • Je communiceert helder en stelt vragen als je iets niet weet.
  • Je neemt initiatief en wil impact maken met je code.
  • Kennis van of interesse in Python, cloudplatformen (AWS, Azure of GCP) of databases is een plus. Ervaring met agentic development is een grote troef.
