Wil je Account Manager worden, maar krijg je nergens de kans om het vak écht te leren?

Bij veel commerciële functies wordt verwacht dat je vanaf dag één resultaten haalt. Wij bekijken dat anders.

Net zoals een plant pas echt tot bloei komt met de juiste zorg en aandacht, geloven we bij Gimall Plants dat een sterke Account Manager zich ontwikkelt dankzij begeleiding, vertrouwen en ervaring.

Je dag start met een overzicht van de bestellingen en vragen die binnenkomen van klanten in Frankrijk. Een belangrijk deel van je rol bestaat uit het correct verwerken en administratief opvolgen van bestellingen, zodat klanten kunnen rekenen op een vlotte service.

Je stemt af met collega's van aankoop, logistiek en transport, verwerkt orders in het systeem en volgt leveringen nauwgezet op. Zo leer je niet alleen onze werking kennen, maar krijg je ook inzicht in hoe klanten dagelijks ondersteund worden.

Doorheen de dag wisselen administratieve opvolging, orderverwerking en klantencontact elkaar voortdurend af. Via telefoon, mail, WhatsApp en de webshop help je klanten verder met vragen over producten, beschikbaarheden en leveringen.

In het begin ligt de focus vooral op het leren kennen van onze producten, klanten en processen.

Naarmate je groeit in de functie, krijg je meer verantwoordelijkheid binnen klantenbeheer en accountmanagement. Zo leer je commerciële opportuniteiten herkennen en bouw je stap voor stap duurzame klantenrelaties op.

Af en toe ga je mee op leveranciersbezoek of bezoek je een vakbeurs. Jaarlijks sluit je aan bij een klantenbezoek in Frankrijk. Daardoor leer je niet alleen onze producten beter kennen, maar krijg je ook een goed beeld van de markt, de klanten en de sector waarin je actief bent.

Wat heb je nodig om succesvol te zijn?

Je hoeft geen ervaren Account Manager te zijn. We zoeken vooral iemand die graag leert, verantwoordelijkheid opneemt en energie haalt uit klantencontact. Interesse in commerciële relaties en de motivatie om zich verder te ontwikkelen zijn belangrijker dan een uitgebreid cv.

  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands.
  • Frans goed begrijpen én bereid zijn om dagelijks Frans te spreken met klanten.
  • Vlot kunnen werken met Outlook en Excel om bestellingen, klantinformatie en dagelijkse opvolging correct te beheren.

Nice-to-haves

  • Interesse in sales, accountmanagement of klantenrelaties.
  • Leergierigheid en de motivatie om de plantenwereld, onze producten en het vak van Account Manager grondig te leren kennen.
  • Initiatief, verantwoordelijkheidszin en een positieve ingesteldheid.
  • Eerste commerciële ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste.
