Als Junior Accountant versterk je de financiële afdeling van een groeiende bedrijvengroep. Je ondersteunt de dagelijkse boekhouding en zorgt ervoor dat facturen, betalingen en bankverrichtingen correct en tijdig worden verwerkt.

Je krijgt vanaf de eerste dag verantwoordelijkheid, maar kan rekenen op begeleiding van een ervaren collega. Daardoor is deze functie geschikt voor zowel een recent afgestudeerde kandidaat als iemand met een eerste werk- of stage-ervaring.

Naast de operationele boekhouding werk je als Junior Accountant mee aan maandafsluitingen, btw-aangiftes en financiële rapporteringen op groepsniveau. Je controleert niet alleen of de cijfers juist zijn, maar leert ze ook analyseren en interpreteren.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Verwerken en boeken van inkomende facturen.
  • Opstellen en boeken van uitgaande facturen.
  • Controleren van factuurgegevens en signaleren van afwijkingen.
  • Bewaken van de correcte boekhoudkundige verwerking.
  • Voorbereiden en uitvoeren van betalingen.
  • Controleren of leveranciers tijdig en correct worden betaald.
  • Boeken en opvolgen van bankverrichtingen.
  • Afstemmen van bankrekeningen met de boekhouding.
  • Ondersteunen van de maandelijkse afsluiting.
  • Voorbereiden en uitvoeren van periodieke controles.
  • Mee voorbereiden van btw-aangiftes.
  • Ondersteunen bij de tijdige indiening van btw-aangiftes.
  • Verzamelen en controleren van financiële gegevens.
  • Meewerken aan de maandelijkse financiële rapportering.
  • Ondersteunen van financiële rapporteringen op groepsniveau.
  • Analyseren en interpreteren van financiële cijfers.
  • Signaleren van fouten, afwijkingen en ontbrekende informatie.
  • Beantwoorden van interne vragen over facturen en betalingen.
  • Bewaken van een overzichtelijke financiële administratie.
  • Meedenken over slimmere en efficiëntere werkmethodes.
  • Signaleren van mogelijkheden voor procesverbetering.
  • Ondersteunen van de verdere professionalisering van de financiële afdeling.
  • Geleidelijk meer verantwoordelijkheid opnemen binnen Finance.
  • Een diploma in Boekhouding, Accountancy, Finance of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Een eerste relevante werkervaring is welkom, maar geen absolute vereiste.
  • Stage-ervaring binnen een financiële of boekhoudkundige omgeving komt eveneens in aanmerking.
  • Basiskennis van algemene boekhouding en btw.
  • Interesse in facturatie, betalingen, afsluitingen en financiële rapportering.
  • Een goed cijfermatig inzicht.
  • Nauwkeurig en alert bij het controleren van facturen en financiële gegevens.
  • Zelfstandig in de uitvoering van toegewezen werkzaamheden.
  • Bereid om vragen te stellen en actief bij te leren.
  • Vertrouwd met Exact Online of gemotiveerd om het programma snel aan te leren.
  • Een proactieve houding en aandacht voor efficiëntere werkmethodes.
  • Bereid om verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en verder te groeien binnen Finance.
  • Gestructureerd en zorgvuldig in het beheren van administratieve gegevens.
  • Een collegiale ingesteldheid en vlotte samenwerking met andere medewerkers.
  • Gemotiveerd om financiële cijfers niet alleen te verwerken, maar ook te begrijpen.
