Voor ons Finance team in Oudenaarde zoeken we een Junior Business Controller die analytisch sterk is, graag samenwerkt en wil bijdragen aan betere beslissingen binnen de organisatie.

Je komt terecht in een internationale context en werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen zoals Sales, Operations en Purchasing. In deze rol krijg je de kans om impact te maken én jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen controlling.

Functieomschrijving

Als Junior Business Controller ondersteun je de organisatie met financiële analyses en inzichten:

  • Je analyseert operationele kosten en vergelijkt budgetten met de werkelijke resultaten (gap-analyse)
  • Je voert margeanalyses uit in nauwe samenwerking met Sales en Purchasing (actual vs. budget/forecast)
  • Je fungeert als sparringpartner voor verschillende afdelingen zoals Operations en Sales
  • Je werkt mee aan projecten en ondersteunt het management bij financiële opvolging
  • Je volgt voorraden op, analyseert trage en verouderde stock en stelt acties voor
  • Je werkt samen met het Business Control team om processen en best practices verder te optimaliseren
  • Je draagt bij aan continue verbetering door rapportering te verfijnen en datakwaliteit te verhogen
  • Je berekent scenario's, business cases en de impact op working capital
  • Je definieert en volgt KPI's op, zoals stockrisico's en performantie-indicatoren
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een economische richting (zoals Handelsingenieur, TEW of Finance) en hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring als Financial of Business Controller
  • Je werkt analytisch en gestructureerd, denkt kritisch mee en communiceert vlot met verschillende stakeholders waarmee je graag samenwerkt
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel (pivot tables, functies, data-analyse) en bij voorkeur ervaring met SAP of een ander ERP-systeem
  • Je spreekt vlot Engels, gezien de internationale context
