In deze functie werk je midden in de natuur op de Veluwe, waar je zorgt voor het onderhoud van spoorbermen én actief bijdraagt aan biodiversiteit en veiligheid. Een ideale rol voor iemand die graag fysiek bezig is en trots wil zijn op zichtbaar resultaat. Organisatie Je komt terecht bij een professionele organisatie die actief is binnen het beheer en onderhoud van de openbare ruimte. De organisatie richt zich onder andere op groenonderhoud, infrastructuur en natuurbeheer. Er wordt gewerkt in vaste teams met een sterke focus op veiligheid, kwaliteit en duurzaamheid. De werksfeer is open en informeel, waarbij samenwerking en ontwikkeling centraal staan. Functie Als junior hovenier onderhoud werk je dagelijks in een natuurrijke omgeving langs het spoor op de Veluwe. Je bent samen met collega's verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden van groenvoorzieningen en bermen. Denk aan maaien, snoeien en het netjes houden van de omgeving, zodat het spoor veilig en goed toegankelijk blijft. Je maakt gebruik van verschillende gereedschappen zoals een bosmaaier, heggenschaar en motorzaag, maar ook van moderne hulpmiddelen zoals een quad of robotmaaier voor moeilijk bereikbare plekken. Naast regulier onderhoud signaleer je bijzonderheden zoals schade of onveilige situaties en onderneem je actie waar mogelijk. Ook voer je lichte herstelwerkzaamheden uit en draag je bij aan het behoud en de ontwikkeling van flora en fauna in het gebied.
