The posting

Wil je als startende ingenieur je technische kennis meteen toepassen op echte producten? Als Junior Mechanical Engineer werk je mee aan het ontwerp en de ontwikkeling van mechanische producten voor ramen en deuren. Je krijgt daarbij de kans om het volledige proces te leren kennen: van ontwerp en prototype tot productie.

Je start onder begeleiding van een ervaren collega en groeit stap voor stap mee in de projecten.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je werkt mee aan het mechanisch ontwerp van producten.
  • Je maakt en past technische ontwerpen en tekeningen aan.
  • Je ondersteunt bij sterkteberekeningen en technische vraagstukken.
  • Je analyseert samen met collega's problemen die vanuit de testafdeling of klanten naar voren komen.
  • Je denkt kritisch mee over bestaande processen en mogelijke verbeteringen.
  • Je volgt mee hoe een ontwerp uiteindelijk in productie wordt gerealiseerd.
  • Je werkt samen met ervaren collega's, productie en testafdeling.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht in een familiale technische onderneming die gespecialiseerd is in de ontwikkeling en productie van mechanische componenten en systemen voor ramen en deuren.

Een belangrijk kenmerk is de verticale integratie: verschillende stappen van het productieproces, waaronder prototypes en matrijzen, gebeuren intern. Je krijgt daardoor een brede kijk op hoe een product van ontwerp naar productie gaat.Je maakt deel uit van een R&D-team van ongeveer 22 collega's, met een mix van junior en ervaren profielen. De cultuur is open en nuchter, met korte communicatielijnen en een sterke samenwerking.

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting.
  • Interesse in mechanisch productontwerp.
  • Nauwkeurig en analytisch kunnen werken.
  • Je communiceert vlot en durft contact te leggen met collega's op de werkvloer.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands.
  • Je hebt oog voor toleranties en technische nauwkeurigheid.
  • Eerste ervaring met fijnmechanisch productontwerp is een plus
  • Ervaring met technische tekeningen of CAD.
