The posting

Als (Junior) Metaalbewerker ga je aan de slag binnen een familiebedrijf waar vakmanschap centraal staat. Je leert het vak rechtstreeks van ervaren collega's die al jarenlang werkzaam zijn binnen de metaalbewerking. Zij nemen de tijd om jou alles uit te leggen en begeleiden je stap voor stap, zodat jij jezelf kunt ontwikkelen tot een zelfstandig vakman.

Geen dag is hetzelfde. Je werkt aan uiteenlopende projecten voor onder andere de maritieme sector, industrie, utiliteitsbouw en infrastructuur. Hierbij leer je werken met verschillende conventionele machines en ontdek je hoe metalen platen en profielen worden gewalst, gekant en gezet.

Heb je nog geen ervaring? Geen probleem! Het belangrijkste is dat je technisch inzicht hebt, graag met je handen werkt en gemotiveerd bent om een nieuw vak te leren.

Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan uit:

- Leren walsen, kanten en zetten van verschillende soorten plaat- en profielmateriaal - Bedienen en afstellen van diverse conventionele machines - Bewerken van metalen onderdelen aan de hand van technische tekeningen - Assisteren bij het vervaardigen van maatwerkconstructies - Samenwerken met ervaren collega's en steeds meer zelfstandigheid opbouwen - Meedenken over technische oplossingen en verbeteringen binnen het productieproces

Je werkt in een fulltime dagdienst van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 07.30 tot 16.30 uur. In het weekend ben je lekker vrij!

- Woonachtig in de omgeving van Krimpen aan den IJssel, Krimpenerwaard of Capelle aan den IJssel. - Technisch inzicht en interesse in metaalbewerking - Je werkt graag met je handen en bent leergierig - Een afgeronde vmbo- of mbo-opleiding richting techniek is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste - Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal - Een VCA-certificaat is een pré of je bent bereid dit via de werkgever te behalen
