De Nationale Bank van België (NBB) is op zoek naar een Non-Financial Risk Manager om haar Operational Risk Management-team te versterken.

Deze entiteit is een dynamisch en multidisciplinair team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het beheer en de coördinatie van het kader voor het beheer van niet-financiële risico’s van de NBB. Deze functie biedt inzicht in de NBB als geheel en in haar werking via regelmatige contacten met de verschillende entiteiten op alle niveaus.

Jobomschrijving

  • je werkt samen met ervaren collega’s aan de ontwikkeling en actualisering van het beleid, de methodologieën, procedures en richtlijnen voor het beheer van niet-financiële risico’s
  • je begeleidt de diensten bij hun risico- en controleanalyses
  • je helpt bij de beoordeling van risico-inschattingen, controles en beheersmaatregelen
  • je volgt de relevante ontwikkelingen, trends, goede praktijken en opkomende bedreigingen en helpt de mogelijke impact ervan op het risicokader te analyseren
  • je verzamelt en analyseert informatie over belangrijke operationele incidenten en ondersteunt de beoordeling van de oorzaken, de opvolging van corrigerende maatregelen en de identificatie van risico’s en trends
  • je helpt rapporteringen voor het management en de bevoegde bestuursorganen voor te bereiden over: het niet-financiële risicoprofiel, belangrijke incidenten, aandachtspunten en de opvolging van maatregelen
  • je draagt samen met andere experten bij aan het risicobewustzijn binnen de NBB via advies, communicatie en interne opleidingen en ondersteunt het beheer van grote operationele crisissen.
  • je hebt een masterdiploma in managementwetenschappen, handelsingenieur, informatica, economie of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied; een eerste kennismaking met risicobeheer is een troef
  • je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd, stelt de juiste prioriteiten en kan informatie analyseren en helder samenvatten
  • je werkt vlot en constructief samen met collega’s en gesprekspartners binnen verschillende entiteiten en staat open voor feedback en andere standpunten
  • je handelt integer en objectief, denkt kritisch en analytisch en durft op een respectvolle manier vragen te stellen
  • je bent leergierig, past je vlot aan nieuwe onderwerpen en situaties aan en zoekt pragmatisch mee naar oplossingen
  • je communiceert helder en professioneel, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, en kan analyses en bevindingen op een gestructureerde en begrijpelijke manier toelichten
  • je hebt een goede praktische kennis van het Nederlands, het Frans en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk (niveau B2).

Deze juniorfunctie richt zich tot kandidaten met een relevante professionele ervaring van maximaal 2 jaar.
