Junior onderzoeker 'Tomosynthese in bevolkingsonderzoek naar borstkanker'. Het doel van de STREAM studie is om het effect van tomosynthese, ter vervanging van digitale mammografie, in het Nederlandse bevolkingsonderzoek borstkanker te bepalen op de korte-, middellange- en lange termijn. Hierbij is ook aandacht voor de optimale strategie voor beeldverwerving- en interpretatie. De eerste ronde van de STREAM-studie is afgerond en de tweede ronde bevindt zich momenteel in de afrondingsfase. Binnenkort start een nieuwe onderzoeksfase, waarin de onderzoeken uit de tweede ronde opnieuw worden beoordeeld. Hierbij wordt onderzoek gedaan naar optimale leesstrategiën voor radiologen, met speciale aandacht voor de inzet van kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) en andere technieken die kunnen bijdragen aan een beter en efficiënter beoordelingsproces. Voor de uitvoering van dit onderzoek zoeken we een Junior onderzoeker 'Tomosynthese in bevolkingsonderzoek naar borstkanker'. Functie- en taakomschrijving - Je werkt met een multidisciplinair begeleidingsteam aan het door ZonMW & KWF gefinancierde onderzoeksproject STREAM.Je voert onderzoek uit naar het effect van tomosynthese in het bevolkingsonderzoek borstkanker en zoekt daarbij naar manieren om de interpretatie van de beelden te vergemakkelijken/verbeteren. - Je draagt zorg voor de organisatie en het opzetten van het herlezen van STREAM ronde 2.
