Voor een bedrijf aan de haven van Zeebrugge kan je als startersjob als Operations Officer aan de slag. De kern van deze functie ligt in het stroomlijnen van maritieme processen,, opvolgen en rapporteren van scheepsoperaties. Hierbij staan kwaliteitsstandaarden, veiligheid en organisatorische efficientie centraal. Er wordt nauw samengewerkt met alle medewerkers om het kwaliteit-, veiligheid- en milieumanagementsysteem continu te ondersteunen en te verbeteren.

Jouw profiel:

  • Je bent op zoek naar een startersjob of je hebt niet langer dan 6 maand werkervaring.
  • Je kan je vlot verplaatsen naar Zeebrugge.
  • Analytisch en Organiserend: Het vermogen om complexe planningen te vertalen naar de praktijk en efficientieverbeteringen te identificeren.
  • Communicatief Sterk: Een heldere communicator die informatie vlot overbrengt naar verschillende niveaus binnen de organisatie.
  • Veiligheidsbewust: Een scherp oog voor risico's en een onvermoeibare focus op kwaliteit en veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Nauwkeurig: Een administratieve duizendpoot met aandacht voor detail in rapportering en loonverwerking.
  • Teamgericht: Een coachende instelling die bijdraagt aan een constructieve werksfeer op de terminal.

Jouw taken:

  • Permanent controleren en corrigeren van de naleving van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsinstructies aan boord.
  • Toepassen en handhaven van besproken tegenmaatregelen.
  • Vaststellen en rapporteren van ongevallen en schadegevallen binnen de gestelde deadlines.
  • Administratief opvolgen van incidenten en optreden als ambassadeur en coach voor een efficiente samenwerking.
  • Opstellen van de takenverdeling en ploegbezetting op basis van standaard R/V's.
  • Inschatten van dagelijkse operationele problemen en proactief inspelen op veranderende omstandigheden.
  • Aansturen van operaties tijdens de shift, inclusief het uitvoeren van last minute risicoanalyses.
  • Formuleren van verbetervoorstellen voor de operationele werking.
  • Deelnemen aan de premeeting met de Chief Officer en zorgen voor een heldere informatiedoorstroming naar de ceelbaas, foreman en de hierarchische lijn.
