The posting

Bij een raffinaderij voor hernieuwbare brandstoffen op de Rotterdamse Maasvlakte werk je aan de besturing en beveiliging van procesinstallaties. Als Junior Process Control Engineer ondersteun je de operatie met regelkringen, instrumentatie en DCS-, PLC- en SIS-systemen. Je bent betrokken bij het hele traject: van conceptueel ontwerp en detailengineering tot implementatie, verificatie en verbetering van de procesregeling. Daarbij staan veilige bedrijfsvoering en betrouwbare installaties centraal. In de dagelijkse praktijk onderzoek je storingen en trips, bereid je softwarewijzigingen voor en stem je technische oplossingen af met operators, maintenance engineers en process engineers. Je werkt binnen het engineeringteam en rapporteert aan de Automation and Control Lead. Door mee te werken aan projecten, risicoanalyses en documentatie verdiep je je kennis van procesdynamica en functionele veiligheid. Na een uitgebreid inwerktraject draai je mee in de 24/7-consignatiedienst. Functie-inhoud - Ondersteunen van operations en maintenance bij regelkringen, instrumentatie en DCS-, PLC- en SIS-systemen. - Analyseren van storingen en installatietrips en adviseren over technische verbeteringen. - Voorbereiden, uitvoeren en verifiëren van softwarewijzigingen voor betere procesregeling. - Uitwerken van besturingsontwerpen en deelprojecten binnen de bestaande automatiseringsarchitectuur. - Afstemmen met technische disciplines en leveranciers en controleren van uitbesteed engineeringwerk. - Bijdragen aan procesrisicoanalyses en SIL-beoordelingen en bijhouden van loop sheets, alarmlijsten en control narratives. - Na uitgebreid inwerken deelnemen aan de 24/7-consignatiedienst. Functie-eisen - Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Chemical, Process of Automation/Control Engineering. - Minimaal één jaar ervaring met ontwerp, implementatie en verificatie van procesbesturing en veiligheidssystemen in raffinage, petrochemie of vergelijkbare industrie. - Kennis van of ervaring met DCS, PLC en Saf.
