Voor een internationale marktleider binnen de industriële technologie zijn we vandaag op zoek naar een Junior Software Engineer. Het bedrijf zet sterk in op innovatie, automatisering en digitalisering en bouwt zo voortdurend verder aan de optimalisatie van zijn logistieke en productieprocessen. Binnen een hoogtechnologische logistieke omgeving wordt momenteel gewerkt aan een nieuw Warehouse Management System (WMS). Dit systeem wordt een belangrijk onderdeel van de verdere optimalisatie van de goederenstromen, waarbij schaalbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en real-time dataverwerking van cruciaal belang zijn.

Jobomschrijving

In deze rol krijg je de kans om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een technisch uitdagende omgeving, waarbij ook de nieuwste AI-tools en technologieën worden gebruikt. Je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling van Java-gebaseerde applicaties die verschillende operationele processen in real time ondersteunen. Je analyseert samen met het team functionele en technische vraagstukken en vertaalt deze naar kwalitatieve en toekomstgerichte software. Daarbij krijg je voldoende ruimte om zelf zaken op te nemen, technische oplossingen mee te onderbouwen en verbeteringen voor te stellen op vlak van architectuur, codekwaliteit en nieuwe ideeën. Je werkt nauw samen met interne analisten, architecten en andere developers. Zo krijg je de kans om veel bij te leren en je technische kennis verder uit te bouwen. Door de complexiteit van de omgeving en de impact van het systeem kan je bovendien op termijn steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid en ownership opnemen.

  • Masterdiploma in IT, Computerwetenschappen, Ingenieurswetenschappen of gelijkaardig
  • Sterke interesse in Java-ontwikkeling en complexe backend-systemen
  • Je denkt analytisch en voelt je comfortabel in een technische, hoogtechnologische omgeving
  • Je neemt initiatief, onderzoekt graag zelfstandig nieuwe pistes en werkt kwaliteitsgericht
  • Je werkt in het Nederlands
