Junior Sustainability Consultant Utrecht JUNIOR SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT Ecomatters is looking for a new colleague that wants to work in the field of data-driven sustainability as a junior sustainability consultant with a focus on LCA and quantitative assessment! Working at Ecomatters will enable you to develop relevant experience in the field of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and provides plenty of opportunities to test your knowledge and skills by working for a wide range of multinational corporate clients and cutting-edge start-ups. Do you fit this profile? You are: - Ambitious, capable of thinking with a commercial mindset and quantitively driven - Comfortable working in a dynamic environment - Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to perform different activities within a team - Fluent in English and have enough knowledge of Dutch to feel comfortable in a Dutch environment You have: - An MSc degree in natural sciences, sustainability, chemistry, environmental assessment, technology/ engineering/modelling, economics or similar - Sound knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) - 0-3 years of experience performing sustainability assessments using LCA methodology - An established connection with the Netherlands (through life, work, study, etc.) The following items are considered an advantage: - Experience with LCA software (LCA for Experts (formerly Gabi), SimaPro, or Open LCA) and/or AI-tools - Working experience in the fields of energy, metals or chemistry There are a number of activities you could be part of, for example: - Performing quantitative sustainability assessment (Life Cycle Assessment, EPDs and/or Excel modelling) - Developing presentations, reports, or communication materials - Interacting with our customers to find solutions to their needs - Engaging with customers as part of their sustainability team by providing quantitative support services Working for Ecomatters will build your relevant skills a...
