The posting

Voor onze klant, een belangrijke speler binnen recycling in West-Europa, ben ik op zoek naar een Junior System Engineer in Menen. Met zijn 45 sites en 800 gebruikers heb je gegarandeerd de nodige uitdagingen binnen het infrastructure team!

Samen met jouw 3 infrastructuur collega’s ben je verantwoordelijk voor de continue verbeteringen van de systemen, netwerkinfrastructuur en security.

  • Je initieert samen met de team lead verbeterprocessen op verschillende domeinen
  • Je voert nieuwe en lopende projecten uit om onze IT standaarden naar een hoger niveau te tillen.
  • Je maakt deel uit van het L2-L3 support team waarbij je de medewerkers en IT collega’s verder helpt over alle domeinen heen. Gezien de vele sites, zal hier ook vaak remote ondersteuning nodig zijn.
  • Je test, valideert en implementeert systeemwijzigingen, doet upgrades en documenteert deze. Zowel in team als zelfstandig weet je dit in goede banen te leiden.

Profiel

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma (gericht op IT) en hebt minstens 1 jaar relevante werkervaring als Systeembeheerder
  • Nederlands en Frans is een must, Engels is een plus
  • Je hebt kennis van volgende domeinen: Windows server, Microsoft AD, AHCI, Azure configuration, backup tools en principes, Monitoring tools, Powershell scripting, XDR en Firewalls
  • Ervaring met Linux is een pluspunt, idem voor SQL databases
  • Je bent innovatief, zelfstandig en ondernemend/proactief. Je organiseert je eigen agenda met de nodige verantwoordelijkheid
