Als Junior Transportplanner zorg je er samen met je collega's voor dat chauffeurs, voertuigen en opdrachten zo efficiënt mogelijk op elkaar worden afgestemd. Je volgt internationale ritten van dichtbij op en zorgt ervoor dat ook de administratieve en praktische voorbereiding klopt.

Concreet betekent dit onder andere:

  • mee opmaken en opvolgen van de dagelijkse transportplanning voor een grote groep chauffeurs;
  • internationale ritten voorbereiden en operationeel opvolgen;
  • chauffeurs ondersteunen en bijsturen wanneer er onderweg wijzigingen of onverwachte situaties ontstaan;
  • douanedocumenten voorbereiden en CMR-documenten opmaken;
  • treinen boeken en de nodige timeslots reserveren;
  • transportopdrachten administratief correct verwerken;
  • communiceren met chauffeurs, klanten en andere betrokken partijen;
  • samen met je collega's zoeken naar oplossingen wanneer de planning verandert

We zoeken in de eerste plaats iemand die interesse heeft in transport en logistiek en zich verder wil ontwikkelen tot een sterke transportplanner.

Je beschikt bij voorkeur over:

  • bacheloropleiding, bijvoorbeeld Logistiek Management;
  • goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels en kennis van het Frans;
  • goede basiskennis van MS Office, kennis Cargo vormt een sterke troef
  • voldoende flexibiliteit om snel te schakelen wanneer omstandigheden veranderen;
  • een gestructureerde manier van werken en het vermogen om overzicht te bewaren;
  • interesse in een operationele omgeving waar planning, communicatie en probleemoplossing samenkomen.
