Wij zijn een van de meest complete juridische bibliotheken in Nederland met in onze collectie ruim 20.000 boeken, 400 titels van vakbladen, verschillende jurisprudentiebladen en officiële publicaties. Wij beschikken over meerdere zoeksystemen om literatuur en jurisprudentie-onderzoek uit te voeren. Tevens behoort de verhuur van de toga's onder onze activiteiten. De Praktizijns-Sociëteit is sterk in beweging en ontplooit een scala aan nieuwe activiteiten terwijl het goede van de bestaande dienstverlening wordt behouden. Als aanvulling op ons vaste team zijn wij op zoek naar een werkstudent die in de masterfase van zijn/haar rechtenstudie zit. Dit is de perfecte plek om je juridische zoekvaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen waar je de rest van je carrière profijt van zult hebben. De vacature is voor 16 uur per week. De belangrijkste werkzaamheden zijn: - Het verrichten van literatuuronderzoek, jurisprudentieonderzoek, maar ook onderzoek naar wetgeving en parlementaire geschiedenis naar aanleiding van casus- en literatuuraanvragen van advocaten uit de praktijk. - Het documenteren van boeken, tijdschriftartikelen, bundels en open access-bronnen in ons eigen informatiezoeksysteem. - Het verhuren van toga's aan advocaten. - Het verrichten van balie- en bibliotheekwerkzaamheden. Wij zijn op zoek naar: - Masterstudent rechten; - Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke Nederlandse en Engelse taalvaardigheid; - Goede sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden; - Goed in teamverband kunnen samenwerken; - Prettig en nieuwsgierig mens met dienstverlenende instelling.
