Waar kom je terecht? Gemeente Venlo bestaat uit 10 kernen die samen ruim 100 duizend inwoners tellen. Hiermee is de gemeente groot genoeg om mee te kunnen praten over landelijke en internationale vraagstukken, maar klein genoeg om te werken binnen een betrokken en persoonlijke sfeer. Voor het team Juridische Zaken zoeken wij een ervaren jurist bezwaar en beroep Participatiewet. In deze rol lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan een zorgvuldige, rechtmatige en kwalitatief hoogwaardige uitvoering van de Participatiewet. Je behandelt bezwaar- en beroepszaken binnen het sociaal domein en adviseert collega's en het management over juridische vraagstukken. Wat ga je doen? - Je behandelt zelfstandig bezwaarschriften op grond van de Participatiewet. - Je stelt verweerschriften, juridische adviezen en overige processtukken op. - Je vertegenwoordigt de gemeente tijdens hoorzittingen, beroepsprocedures bij de rechtbank en hogerberoepsprocedures bij de Centrale Raad van Beroep. - Je adviseert collega's binnen het sociaal domein over juridische vraagstukken. - Je toetst besluiten op rechtmatigheid en juridische kwaliteit. - Je volgt ontwikkelingen in wet- en regelgeving en jurisprudentie en vertaalt deze naar de uitvoeringspraktijk. - Je draagt bij aan de verdere professionalisering van de juridische kwaliteitszorg binnen de gemeente.
