Introductie

Sobegas (Société Belge de Gestion d’Assurances) is een coöperatieve vennootschap die in 1989 werd opgericht door verschillende Belgische verzekeringsondernemingen.

In opdracht van deze ondernemingen staat Sobegas in voor de aanvaarding van risico’s, de opmaak van contracten en bijvoegsels, de inning van premies en het beheer en de regeling van schadegevallen. We werken voornamelijk voor verzekeringstussenpersonen, agenten in bankdiensten en kredietbemiddelaars.

U komt terecht in een stabiel en gespecialiseerd team van zes mensen. De communicatielijnen zijn kort, collega’s helpen elkaar en iedereen neemt de volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor zijn of haar dossiers.

Over de functie

U beheert zelfstandig schadedossiers, hoofdzakelijk inzake beroepsaansprakelijkheid, maar ook inzake BA Uitbating en bestuurdersaansprakelijkheid.

  • U analyseert de feiten, de waarborgen en de aansprakelijkheidsvragen en bepaalt op basis daarvan de strategie van het dossier.
  • U communiceert over de dekking van het schadegeval en motiveert uw standpunt helder tegenover verzekerden, tegenpartijen, advocaten en partners.
  • U voert gesprekken en onderhandelingen met diplomatie en werkt toe naar juridisch onderbouwde, pragmatische oplossingen.
  • U begroot de schadereserves en staat in voor de regeling van de schadegevallen.
  • Bij gerechtelijke procedures coördineert u de contacten met advocaten en volgt u het dossier op tot de afsluiting.
  • U verricht juridisch opzoekingswerk en stelt adviezen of nota’s op ter ondersteuning van de secretaris-generaal.
  • U behandelt dagelijks dossiers in het Nederlands en het Frans.

Uw profiel

  • U beschikt over een masterdiploma in de rechten.
  • U hebt een grondige kennis van het verzekeringsrecht en minstens drie jaar relevante ervaring aan de balie, bij een verzekeringsonderneming of in het beheer van complexe schadedossiers.
  • U beheerst het Nederlands en het Frans uitstekend, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • U analyseert complexe situaties nauwkeurig en kunt uw redenering helder toelichten.
  • U onderhandelt vlot en diplomatisch met uiteenlopende gesprekspartners.
  • U werkt zelfstandig en proactief en voelt zich tegelijk thuis in een klein, hecht team.
