Jaarlijks ontvangt Team Beroepsrisico zo'n 3.500 meldingen van ongevallen en 350 meldingen van mentale problemen als gevolg van politiewerk. Deze politiemedewerkers hebben aanspraken die vastgelegd zijn in onze rechtspositie. Als organisatie willen wij dat onze collega's ondersteuning krijgen indien dit nodig is, zodat zij zich kunnen richten op hun herstel en re-integratie. De politie gaat als een van de eerste publieke werkgevers aan de slag met een nieuw rechtspositioneel stelsel waar de aanspraak op schadevergoeding bij letselschade onderdeel van uitmaakt. Deze aanspraken zorgen voor een nieuwe manier van werken die uniek is in de letselschade. Als jurist personenschade ben je verantwoordelijk voor de voorbereiding van de besluitvorming van aanspraken tijdens hun herstel- en re-integratiestadium. Denk hierbij aan vergoeding van medische kosten, kosten voor voorzieningen thuis (zoals huishoudelijke hulp, kinderopvang, zelfwerkzaamheid) en smartengeld. Uniek in deze functie is dat je te maken hebt met zowel het belang van de werkgever als de politiemedewerker die we willen ondersteunen door de letselschade te vergoeden. Als jurist personenschade beoordeel je aanvragen van collega's aan de hand van vastgestelde afspraken die zijn vastgelegd in de arbeidsvoorwaarden van de politie. Hiertoe heb je in je werk contact met veel verschillende partners binnen de organisatie en ook met (oud)medewerkers, belangenbehartigers en leidinggevenden. Waar ga je werken?
